About: Native to Canada, Black Spruce trees produce an essential oil with a beautiful, fresh aroma that is sweet, crisp and woodsy. Reminiscent of pine forests, the oil can have a balancing, stimulating effect that energizes both mind and body. Traditionally Black Spruce has been used to support immunity, healthy thyroid function, balanced female hormones, and healthy adrenals.
Common Uses: Black Spruce essential oil may be diffused in small amounts to promote pure air and a healthy respiratory system. This is also a great method to use during cold and flu season to support immunity. For a topical application, dilute 1-5% with a carrier oil and apply to wrists, or use as a vapor rub on the clavicle.
General Dilution Guidelines:
Diffusion: 2-3 drops per ounce of water.
Topical: 1-5%, more under professional guidance.
