About: German Chamomile essential oil has a royal blue color and a sweet, calming, floral aroma. The herb has an exhaustive amount of literature recommending it for hundreds of uses, but it is best known for promoting balanced emotions, relaxation, healthy digestion, and calm, nourished skin.

Common Uses: Aromatherapists often add Chamomile essential oil to salves, massage oils, and calming blends to soothe tension and irritation. Try adding a couple drops of the oil to a tablespoon of your favorite moisturizer, or diffuse several drops to create a peaceful atmosphere.

Safety Information: German Chamomile is safe for use with all ages. This essential oil is so gentle that adults can use it straight on the skin without much concern of irritation, however it is best used diluted for the greatest results and experience. For children under 13 use a 5% dilution or less. For infants and toddlers use a 1% dilution (less than 6 drops per ounce of carrier).   Some may have an allergy to Chamomile if they are allergic to ragweed.
