About: Palmarosa is a reed grass similar in appearance to lemongrass with tall grass blades. This grass is highly aromatic and is planted in gardens to repel insects. The essential oil is steam distilled from the fresh blades of the Palmarosa grass to produce an aromatic essential oil.

Common Uses: Palmarosa essential oil can be added to blends for skin care, relaxation, promoting respiratory health, and as a natural bug repellant.This oil can also be used during colds and flu season in diffusers and respiratory salves to support healthy immunity. Try it in soaps, lotions, hand sanitizers, diffusers, body oils, conditioners, bathing salts, and room spray.

Blending Recommendations: Palmarosa has a unique tropical scent with a sweet finish. While it is primarily used in blends for therapeutic applications, its unique scent can also create beautiful perfumes and colognes.
