About: The subject of more medical research then any other essential oil, Tea Tree is especially well known for promoting bacterial balance and immunity. Its aroma is clean, sharp, medicinal and cooling. Tea Tree can be applied to blemishes, itchy feet, insect bites and minor abrasions. In fact, Tea Tree has too many uses to list, making it one of the most popular essential oils. This is a ‘must have’ for home pharmacies and for those being introduced to essential oils.

Common Uses: Dilute Tea Tree in lotion or carrier oil and apply to areas needing bacterial balance support, as an insect repellant, or simply for an overall immunity boost. Tea Tree can also support immunity and a healthy respiratory system when diffused into the air or used in a steam bath.

Blending Recommendations: Tea Tree’s scent is astringent with hints of mint and musk that blend well with mints, conifers and herbaceous aromas. Tea Tree is primarily used for its therapeutic effects.
